Start with daily feed volume

First, write down how much mixed feed you need each day. Then decide how many mixing rounds you want to make. A larger mixer can reduce the number of rounds, but it also needs the right tractor, space and loading system.

Look at your forage

Long straw, dry hay and wet silage do not mix in the same way. Tell us your main feed materials and fibre length. This helps us discuss the right mixer type, knife setup and mixing system.

Check the feeding route

Measure the loading area, barn aisle and trough line. The machine should fit the route before you choose the final capacity.
